Original and surprisingly well organized! By English standards quite clean ! The breakfast was also satisfying! The restaurant is very busy, especially on weekends. But it was still bearable! We'd book it again anyway!...

Request a room away from the street for less noise and a more restful night.

The location was good, the situation pretty being right next to the river. The rooms were a good size and the bed comfortable.
The hotel is above a shop and pub. Being at the front it was noisy with a delivery in the early hours. Best to take some ear plugs.

Super location directly at the river Medway. The rooms are a little small but ok. Only the carpet disturbs. The breakfast was very good, the dinner less. Very nice garden.
Dinner at the restaurant. Not to be recommended!

The Ship provided a comfortable room with a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were efficient and attentive. Great location near the Historic Dockyard made it convenient for my work commitments.
Dining experience was disappointing with subpar food quality.

Lovely location, individualistically-styled rooms. Helpful staff.
The standard of food I had in the restaurant in the evening was poor (microwaved pie & mash). On the plus side, the mineral water was properly chilled and I didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive!
